Andy Sapp was exposed to drifting in 1998 through World Rally. In 2004 he found himself as a spectator at Formula Drift Atlanta where he was never able to turn back. Andy took to the streets in his personal BMW...
drifting every day until he got it down.
After a Top-8 finish at the RS*R Drift Festival in 2004, he found himself running the entire 2005 Formula Drift season on his own dollar.
Andy created the original "Drifting Is Not A Crime" sticker which has carried itself into an icon within drift culture. Andy also co-founded DriftMechaniks.com, which has become a tight group of drifters who dominate events around the south.
Using his BFA in Digital Multimedia from the Atlanta College of Art, Andy utilized his creative skillset for the documentary's shooting, editing, post-production, and DVD authoring.
