Joey Redmond spent his life living in between Texas and Georgia. In 2005 he was introduced to drifting on the media end.
Import Racer sent him out to cover an event and he quickly became hooked. Joey continued to shoot the 2005 season and move forward into the industry.
Joey started throwing grassroots events in November of 2005 with some partners under the title Atlanta Drift Expo. Kicking off in 2006 they came together to start a
grassroots points series called Drift Fury. Noticing a lack of schedule access in early 2006 he launched livedrift.com - a site that simply provides event information across the country.
His participation in drifting continues with media work for people like Modified, Performance Auto Sound, S3 Magazine, everythingdrift.com , and Drifting Magazine. Joey managed planning and
logistics for the tour. His unparalelled eye behind the lense proved to be a vital asset in the shooting of this documentary.
